Making things with clay in LC2

"My tile is one of those processors for computers - a computer chip, with a circuit board and a background. I like that I got the circuit board finished and I think it all turned out a bit better than I thought it would," commented Max Spence.
Mackenzie Hoskins said, "I did a plaque of Geronimo Stilton. I like the glasses on him and how they stuck on. I like how I etched the name in too."
Angus Turnham commented, "One of things I made was a sword because I felt like it and I had some spare clay left after making my other things. I really like the shape of it. I liked making a tiles as well. I like doing stuff with clay because it feels really squishy and you can mess up and still fix it."
Mia Chee-Quill said, "I made a cat because I like cats. It turned out how I wanted it to be. I especially like its face. I  like doing stuff which clay because it's fun."
In Term 3, LC2 have been making things with clay for visual arts.
We have been doing this on Wednesday afternoons with Mrs Johnson.
We looked on the internet at different things you could do with clay.
We had a go at using different clay-working techniques such as etching, layering and pinching.
We made coil pots and we made tiles.
We really like making things with clay and had lots of fun.
Here are photos of some of our work.
