Becoming Digital Citizens!

Welcome to a new year and new learning in the Pukeko Team!
With all the wonderful new technology available, it is important that we become tech-savvy cyber-citizens.
Today in Ti Kouka we discovered that the internet can be used to visit lots of places to learn new things, and that online we need to keep ourselves safe - just like we do in the real world!
We talked abut our favourite websites to visit and what we do there and we also learned the rules for travelling safely on the internet.
If you remember the three rules, you could add them below in a comment.
You can click on Jeremiah's video to remind you...

Family treasures

In LC1 during literacy, we have been talking and writing about our family treasures and why and how these treasures help us to remember and record our past.
Learners chose an amazing range of different treasures, including ancient artefacts, precious photos, old records, mini irons and clogs! We are sharing our ideas in a report about our treasure on Google Drive.

Check out our Whare!

The LC18 Swamp has had a facelift with our Term 4 artwork and West Melton Kowhaiwhai patterns. We think it looks fantastic and really showcases our learners' artistic talents.
