ANZAC DAY LEARNING

This week in the PUKEKO team, we have bee learning about what ANZAC Day is and why it is so special.
In some classes, we looked at photos from Gallipoli and thought what it would be like to be there as a soldier. We thought it might be scary and hot. There would be lots of flies and it might be very noisy from the rifles and field guns. There wasn't much water so you would probably get very thirsty and you wouldn't be able to wash very often. You might be scared of getting killed because lots of soldiers were killed.
